It's all about me!
Meow, my name is Josephine and I am a sweet little 8-month-old girl with a special story.
I have cat herpes, a condition which means I won't live a long life (it's unlikely I'll make it to 10 years old) but I am still full of beans and have lots of love to give. I'm searching for a very quiet child-free and pet-free indoor home where I can play, cuddle and live out my years with a kind guardian like you.
Herpes doesn't cause me pain but it means I sound a bit snuffly like a pug and I do have a weaker immune system than normal cats. For this reason, I must be kept inside and live in a home free from air fresheners, plug-in diffusers, cold and damp.
It sounds like a lot but TAG will cover all my medical costs and will explain my case in more detail if you are interested. All you really need to know is I am the purrrfect companion. Just because my life will be shorter than others, doesn't mean I don't deserve to leave the sanctuary and live out my days in a loving home.
If you live close to either Briar House Vets or Canterbury Veterinary Surgery, please fill in my adoption form. I would love to meet you.
Rehoming process
1
Application
Please fill in the application form. We read all applications and get in touch with those that look like a good match for a cat in our care.
2
Home check
If your application looks like a good match we will contact you to arrange a home visit - this is a mandatory part of adopting.
3
Meet and greet
Once the home visit is complete we will make an appointment for you to come to the sanctuary to meet suitable cats.
4
Adoption and post adoption support
We love to see updates about how our former residents are getting on and we offer rescue back up for the rest of the cat’s life.
We are a small team, so we rehome animals within Thanet and the surrounding areas, up to a one-hour drive from the sanctuary.
