It's all about me!

Meow, my name is Margaret and was found in Margate Caves. I am actually named after the 18th-century astronomer and former resident of the cave site, which I think makes me very fancy. I'm an older lady, and at 10 years old I'm searching for a peaceful retirement home where I can live out my golden years.

I'm affectionate and friendly and get on well with children, I'll just have to be the only pet in your household. Ideally, I'd like a house with a garden, so we can potter around it together before heading inside for a snooze on the sofa with me curled up on your lap. If that sounds purrrfect for you, fill in my form and come and meet me.

Sadly I can't be rehomed in the CT9 postcode.

Rehoming process

1

Application

Please fill in the application form. We read all applications and get in touch with those that look like a good match for a cat in our care.

2

Home check

If your application looks like a good match we will contact you to arrange a home visit - this is a mandatory part of adopting.

3

Meet and greet

Once the home visit is complete we will make an appointment for you to come to the sanctuary to meet suitable cats.

4

Adoption and post adoption support

We love to see updates about how our former residents are getting on and we offer rescue back up for the rest of the cat’s life.

We are a small team, so we rehome animals within Thanet and the surrounding areas, up to a one-hour drive from the sanctuary.
