It's all about me!

Hello humans! As you can clearly see, I am a beautiful young cat, however there's much more to me than my good looks and it's important that my new humans understand me.

I am a friendly and sociable cat who is very fond of a lap, but everything has to be on my terms. When I feel anxious my default response is to fight (hissing, swiping); I don't mean any harm but in the moment of being frightened I am scared someone might hurt me so I think I'd better get in there first.

It's essential that I have my own space as I'm settling in. During this time I must be left alone and I'll let you know when I'm ready to say hello (hisses become chirrups and then I determinedly sit on your lap!). I would be happiest in a quiet home so I can relax knowing that I am safe. I am always wary of strangers so must have the option to stay out of the way when visitors come, I'll come and meet them if I want to.

Once I've found my feet I am a fantastic fun feline and will bring so much love to my new family.

Rehoming process

1

Application

Please fill in the application form. We read all applications and get in touch with those that look like a good match for a cat in our care.

2

Home check

If your application looks like a good match we will contact you to arrange a home visit - this is a mandatory part of adopting.

3

Meet and greet

Once the home visit is complete we will make an appointment for you to come to the sanctuary to meet suitable cats.

4

Adoption and post adoption support

We love to see updates about how our former residents are getting on and we offer rescue back up for the rest of the cat’s life.

We are a small team, so we rehome animals within Thanet and the surrounding areas, up to a one-hour drive from the sanctuary.
