Reggie is a lovely little character who has had a rough start in life. He has recently lived in a home with other dogs and has been absolutely fine, although he can be a little bit bossy at times. He loves his home comforts, a little fuss and has a really laid-back attitude.
He only has 3 legs, but this doesn’t stop him from living his life to the fullest, playing fetch and having a run around in the garden.
He will go for a little stroll daily or a longer walk a few times a week.
Reggie loves a good off lead run and has great recall.
He is clean in the home and fully house trained.
Reggie absolutely loves a fuss and a cuddle but loves his sleep more! So, once he has had enough, he will take himself off to somewhere quiet where he can sleep and relax.
He would absolutely suit someone who is looking for a little companion or a calm family who will give him the time and love that he deserves.
Due to his rough start in life, he is not happy to be picked up/ man handled – this does unfortunately include vet trips. He has unfortunately bitten in these scenarios – but this is fear related and once he realises that it is not going to hurt and there is nothing to be afraid of, he does relax and calm down. This will take time, and he will need someone who is patient and will take the time to understand him.
Reggie therefore only goes to the vets if it is an absolute necessity. We will offer to take him to and from the vets if this is something that you do not wish to do, we will also help with any other concerns that his new potential owner has.
He is honestly a really loving little man who can be so easily misunderstood, so we are being 100% honest to find him the best forever home and will answer every question with full transparency.
