Volunteer for us
TAG couldn’t exist without our amazing volunteers! Their work is hard and physically demanding but so rewarding and we have some lovely like-minded people who make up Team TAG.
Volunteer at our Sanctuary

Our animals require year-round care, regardless of the weather, and the work is primarily outdoors. Volunteers follow a rota system, with each person assigned a specific day and section to manage. It's crucial for volunteers to commit to their scheduled day each week, as consistent attendance is vital for both the animals and the sanctuary's operations.
Volunteer Schedule
The primary hours for volunteering are between 8am and 11am, so you won’t need to spend the entire day at the sanctuary. However, availability in the morning is essential.
Getting Here
Volunteers need to arrange their own transportation. We offer parking for cars, motorbikes, and bikes. The nearest bus stop is at Westwood Cross, followed by a 15-minute walk to the sanctuary.

Age: Volunteers must be 18 or older.
